Shot in October 2002 for the National Fairground Archive in Sheffield. Pictures from this shoot are currently in the Pleasurelands exhibition at Sheffield’s Millennium Galleries, until Jan 2004, and then touring on to Croydon and Nottinhham.

Nottingham’s Goose Fair dates back to at least 1541. It is one of Europe’s largest travelling fairs, with over 150 rides, and 450 games and exhibitions.

The National Fairground Archive is based at the University of Sheffield.
